Please note all new member applications from 1st January 2026 will be committing to the standard minimum 12-month membership term, plus the 2-month period between now and the club's annual billing date. You will be liable for the full amount of both the joining fee and initial 14-months membership subscription fees should you terminate your membership prior to completing the initial 14-month term.

Playing Privileges:

Right to play any time Midweek, Weekend, Public Holidays (unless otherwise allocated by Golf Committee for specific events).
All Club Competitions (including Club Championships).
Eligible to represent MGC in Auckland Pennants competitions.

Booking Privileges:

Can book any tee time up to 7 days in advance.

Other:

FREE U18 Junior membership (direct blood relation only. $50 annual association levy and administration charge applies) valued at $250.00.
Receive ‘affiliated’ green fee rates at all participating NZ Clubs.
Receive 10% member rebate on all purchases from the bar.
Receive reciprocal playing rights at the following Clubs:

- Sherwood Park (Whangarei) *subsidized fee

Junior (Ages 12-18)

Playing Privileges:

Right to play any time midweek (Mon-Fri), including public holidays, at any time not set aside by the Golf Committee for specific events.
No play Saturday during ‘Competition’ times (currently 7:15am-3pm) unless authorised by Golf Committee.
No play Sunday during ‘Competition’ times (currently 7:15am-10:30am) unless authorised by Golf Committee.
Not eligible to play in any Saturday/Sunday Club Competitions or Scramble events.
Can play Senior Pennants upon selection by Pennant Manager/s and approval from Golf Committee.
Can play Senior Club Championships upon invitation from Golf Committee.

Booking Privileges:

Can book any tee time for which category is eligible up to 7 days in advance.

Other:

Receive ‘affiliated’ green fee rates at all participating NZ Clubs.
Do not receive reciprocal playing rights.
No right to vote at Annual and Special General Meetings
Cannot stand for House

9-Hole

Playing Privileges:

9-Hole play only.
Right to play any time midweek (Mon-Fri), including public holidays (unless otherwise allocated by Golf Committee for specific events).
Right to play Saturday from 3pm onward (no play prior to this time).
Right to play Sunday from 12pm onward (no play prior to this time).
Eligible to play in 9-Hole Club Championships, 9-Hole Midweek Competitions, 9-Hole Midweek Scrambles.

Booking Privileges:

Can book any tee time for which category is eligible up to 7 days in advance.

Other:

When playing an additional 9-holes (i.e. 18-hole round) a 9-Hole Member’s Guest green fee applies.
Receive ‘affiliated’ green fee rates at all participating NZ Clubs.
Receive 10% member rebate on all purchases from the bar.
Receive 9-Hole reciprocal playing rights at the following Clubs:

Joining Fee: $750.00 incl. GST

Playing Privileges:

Right to play any time Midweek, Sunday, Public Holidays (unless otherwise allocated by Golf Committee for specific events).
Play on Saturday outside ‘Competition’ times (i.e. currently after 3pm only) will be permitted however, a full visitor ($65) / member guest ($45) green fee will be payable.
All Sunday/Midweek Club Competitions
Eligible to play Club Championships however, an additional $45 green fee applies for each of the Saturday rounds.
Eligible to represent MGC in Auckland Pennants competitions.

Booking Privileges:

Can book any tee time for which category is eligible up to 7 days in advance.

Other:

Receive ‘affiliated’ green fee rates at all participating NZ Clubs.
Receive 10% member rebate on all purchases from the bar.
Receive reciprocal playing rights at the following Clubs:

Not eligible to play in any 7-Day/6-Day/5-Day/9-Hole/Junior competitions or scrambles unless otherwise authorised by Golf Committee.
Not eligible to represent MGC in Auckland Pennants competitions.
Not eligible to play Club Championships.

Booking Privileges:

Cannot book Saturday and Sunday between 7:15am and 3pm until 12:00 Thursday (i.e. 2 days) prior to date of play. Will not be eligible for any club competition or scramble during this playing time.
Can book any other tee time for which category is eligible up to 7 days in advance.

Other:

Affiliate GolfPoints members receive ‘affiliated’ green fee rates at all participating NZ Clubs.
Not eligible for reciprocal playing rights at partner clubs
Not eligible to vote at Annual and Special General Meetings.
Not eligible to stand for House
