Ambrose CompetitionsELIGIBILITY
All playing club members are eligible to enter.

No entry fee. Match fees do not apply.

10.30 am Shotgun Start
Blue tee for Men
Yellow tees for Women
The 6 Player Ambrose Format
A purely "fun" style of golf competition; of the many variations of Ambrose rules, the committee have chosen a six-player team format for these competitions.
The lowest handicap player is the Team Captain who will keep the Team Score Card.
All players tee off in order of handicap: highest first, lowest last.
The six-player team must use at least three tee shots from each player. (3 x 6 = 18)
Scoring
Maximum Handicaps: Men 36, Women 43
The Team Handicap is 1/8 of the total of all players' course handcaps.
The team handicap is deducted from the team's gross score to give the Team Medal Score.
PRIZES
1st team — each receives a $60 Westfield voucher.
2nd team — each receives a $40 Westfield voucher.
3rd team — each receives a $30 Westfield voucher.
4th team — each receives a $20 Westfield voucher.
5th team — each receives a bottle of wine.

$15 entry fee for each team of two players; women, men or mixed.
(No match fees apply.)
RULES
08.00am & 12.45 shotgun starts. No starts before the field.
- Combined Stableford event with any mix of men and women
- Maximum course handicaps – Men 24, Women 36
- Blue tees for men, yellow tees for women
PRIZES
Total of 20 team prizes spread pro-rata between morning and afternoon fields.

Entries as mixed pairs. Entries close at 5.00pm on the Saturday before Sunday’s event.
RULES
The competition is a ‘Handicap Foursomes’ 36-hole event played on a Sunday.
Maximum course handicaps: Men 24, Women 36
Played from the blue tees; same teeing-off order on both rounds.
TROPHY & PRIZES
The best gross winners receive the Harry Percy Cup and each receive 120 Golf Shop Credits.
Runners-up each receive 80 Golf Shop Credits.
Third-place team each receive 40 Golf Shop Credits.
The best net winners receive the Mixed Foursomes Plate and each receive 120 Golf Shop Credits.
Runners-up each receive 80 Golf Shop Credits.
Third-place team each receive 40 Golf Shop Credits.
Prizes limited: one person one prize.

Single and Combined Stableford CompetitionsENTRY
Entries as mixed pairs. Entries close at 5.00pm on the Saturday before Sunday’s event.
RULES
The competitions are Single Stableford for men and women and Combined Stableford for mixed pairs.
Maximum course handicaps: Men 24, Women 36
Played from the white tees for men, yellow tees for women.
TROPHIES & PRIZES
The prize table is arranged and donated by Anita Hendrey.
The two trophies are presented for the best single stableford score for women and the best single stableford score for men.
Traditionally there have also been prizes for best (mixed) combined stableford scores.

Members have the option to
• invite a guest partner from another NZ Affiliated Club (No green fees are payable)
• or play with another Maungakiekie Club member.
$10 entry fee for each player.

Single stableford competition, one (mixed) field
Start times between 07.16 and 12.30.
Maximum course handicaps – men 36, women 43
PRIZES
Entry fees all allocated to prizes: typically 1st – 10th (depending on prize fund)
MGC members receive Golf Shop Credits
Visitors Golf Shop Credits redeemable on the day
1st prize winner (member or visitor) also receives the Waitangi Shield.
